Homemade Hamburger Helper
Sometimes its just hard to beat the classics. Hamburger helper use to be a favorite around our house until I had to go gluten-free. The good news...this recipe tastes just like hamburger helper only I would say it tastes even better!
Ingredients
- olive oil - 1 tbs.
- ground beef or turkey - 1 lb.
- milk - 2 1/2 cups
- hot water - 1 1/2 cups
- gluten free elbow spaghetti - 2 cups
- chilli powder - 1/2-1 tbs.
- cornstarch - 1 tbs.
- sugar - 1 tsp
- paprika - 3/4 tsp
- shredded cheddar cheese - 2 cups
- onion - 1 medium
- fresh garlic - 3 cloves
